This past weekend, 5 volunteers came together to help our founder clear over 4.5 tons of trash from the EHR site, completing phase one of cleanup and improvements to the site. We are in the process of becoming a nonprofit organization. We will be able to accept donations in the near future to help get us to our goal of creating a therapeutic space for people to be able to come and stay, to connect with nature. Our programs will include learning land stewardship practices, wilderness skills, horticulture, mindfulness practices, council practice, and more. We will be able to host and provide programs for individuals, groups, and schools seeking a wilderness retreat, workshops, and classes. We will have intensive programs for formerly incarcerated individuals and individuals struggling with addiction. If you would like to be involved with this project, please stay tuned and spread the word!

As well as demolishing an old deck.
We love to smash an old toilet!
We were thrilled to find out that there is running water on the property, likely from a local spring. We are unsure of the capacity of the spring, however, and may still need to dig a well.
The Ranch needs a lot of love and care to allow us to be able to host individuals and groups and to provide quality programs, but we have officially completed the first step of our site improvement plan!
